Starbuck United Church
Starbuck United Church, located just 20 kms from Oak Bluff on Hwy 2 is proud of its 100 year tradition of worship and pastoral care in the Starbuck area. Our worship services are at 11:00 am and our Sunday school meets at the same time in a one room school format.
We are deeply committed to providing a place for all in our worship and learning. Throughout the year, we host a number of special events in an all age format. Our wheel – chair accessible building is a blend of traditional and contemporary spaces that is well suited to our warm, friendly, faith community. Each Sunday we have coffee and muffins (or other goodies) before worship.
Our choir practices on Wednesday evening at 7:30 pm and all are welcome to join. Musical experience is not a requirement. All who love music and singing are welcome to join. Our worship is also frequently enriched with various instruments including flute and guitar.
Starbuck United Church is proud of its very active Dinner Theatre Group which provides not only entertainment but also fellowship for all involved. We also host a number of other events throughout the year including a supper at Dawn 'Til Dusk Restaurant, a horticultural event in the spring and a Choir cantata in December which is held in partnership with Trinity Lutheran Church Choir here in Starbuck .
We are involved with our community through our support of various local groups involved with our Dinner Theatre, and support various charities such as St. Matthew's Maryland Community Ministry, Starbuck Wayside Park, Osborne House, and C.O.O.L as well as support Mental Health Services.
