Minister's Message

Spring has come! In spite of some cold weather and a bit of snow, new life springs up all around us. A sign of the new life we experience in this season of Easter.

The congregations of the Meridian Pastoral Charge continue to be bust places with plans being made for Pentecost Sunday and the end of the Sunday school year. Please check individual church pages for information on upcoming events.

I will be taking holidays this summer from July 21st through August 21st. The Pastoral Charge secretery as well as the chair person of each individual congregation will have contact information for the person(s) covering for funerals and emergencies while I am away.

Some of the special events taking place in the upcoming weeks are the horticultural evening in Starbuck on May 9th at 7 pm, The Sanford Spring supper on May 15th and the Inter Church Bacclaureate service on June 19th. Avonlea's heritage service will be held at Union Point Church ( in the middle of Highway 75 north of Morris) on June 26th. Again, for details please see individual pages.
